Refund policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This refund policy explains when you may receive a refund or cancel a purchase related to the NythyCleaner app for macOS and its paid offerings (including the Pro subscription).
Rules depend on your purchase channel (Apple, a third-party payment provider, etc.). Please read the section that applies to you.
1. Publisher and scope
This policy is published by NythyCleaner, Entreprise individuelle relevant du régime français de la micro-entreprise (France). It supplements the Terms of use, which describe the two distribution channels (Mac App Store and outside the App Store).
A refund or cancellation for a purchase on one channel does not automatically apply to the other: each build follows the same payment channel you used when you bought.
2. Contact
For refund or billing questions (especially for non–App Store purchases or if you are unsure of the channel), email support@nythycleaner.cloud. Include the email used for the purchase, the approximate date, and if possible proof of purchase (receipt or transaction ID).
3. Purchases through the Apple App Store
If you subscribed or bought in-app through the App Store (the version distributed by Apple), payment, renewal, and refunds are handled solely by Appleunder Apple's terms. We cannot process refunds for those transactions ourselves.
Request a refund or get help via reportaproblem.apple.com or the Apple Support app, as described by Apple for your account.
4. Purchases on our website or via a payment provider (e.g. Paddle)
When you buy or subscribe through our site or a payment provider (such as Paddle or another processor shown at checkout) for the non–Mac App Store version, that provider processes the transaction. Buyer terms, invoicing, and some refund requests may also be governed by the provider's buyer policy.
We review refund requests in good faith where applicable law or the provider's policy allows, or when a technical issue prevents use of the service shortly after purchase. We aim to respond within a reasonable time once we have the necessary details.
For Paddle's buyer-facing terms, see the official documentation on paddle.com.
5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract for certain distance purchases, subject to applicable exceptions.
For digital content supplied immediately, the law may provide that the right does not apply once you have expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. The wording shown at checkout and the terms of your payment provider or Apple govern the legal details.
6. Subscriptions and cancellation
Cancelling a subscription (turning off auto-renewal) is different from a refund: it usually stops future charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period, unless required by law or agreed otherwise.
How to cancel depends on the channel (Apple account subscriptions for App Store purchases; provider portal or email for direct purchases, as communicated at purchase).
7. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in how we sell or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page is revised accordingly.
