Refund policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
As of the date at the top of this page, NythyCleaner is not distributed on the Mac App Store. The current build is offered by direct download from this website; the Pro subscription is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout (e.g. Stripe). A Mac App Store version may be offered later; these documents will continue to distinguish channels where applicable.
This refund policy explains when you may receive a refund or cancel a purchase related to the NythyCleaner app for macOS and its paid offerings (including the Pro subscription).
Rules depend on your purchase channel (payment provider shown at checkout for direct download, or Apple if you bought through the Mac App Store when that channel is offered). Please read the section that applies to you.
1. Publisher and scope
This policy is published by NythyCleaner, Sole proprietorship under the French micro-enterprise regime (France). It supplements the Terms of use, which describe distribution channels (current direct download; Mac App Store if and when offered).
A refund or cancellation for a purchase on one channel does not automatically apply to the other: each build follows the same payment channel you used when you bought.
2. Contact
For refund or billing questions (especially for non–App Store purchases or if you are unsure of the channel), email contact@nythycleaner.cloud. Include the email used for the purchase, the approximate date, and if possible proof of purchase (receipt or transaction ID).
3. Purchases through the Apple App Store (if applicable)
This section applies only if you obtained NythyCleaner through the Mac App Store. The notice at the top of this page states whether that channel is currently available.
If you subscribed or bought in-app through the App Store (the version distributed by Apple), payment, renewal, and refunds are handled solely by Appleunder Apple's terms. We cannot process refunds for those transactions ourselves.
Request a refund or get help via reportaproblem.apple.com or the Apple Support app, as described by Apple for your account.
4. Purchases on our website or via a payment provider (e.g. Stripe)
This section applies to the current direct-download distribution: when you buy or subscribe through our site or a payment provider (such as Stripeor another processor shown at checkout), that provider processes the transaction. Buyer terms, invoicing, and some refund requests may also be governed by the provider's buyer policy.
We review refund requests in good faith where applicable law or the provider's policy allows, or when a technical issue prevents use of the service shortly after purchase. We aim to respond within a reasonable time once we have the necessary details.
For the provider's buyer-facing terms, refer to the documentation linked at checkout or on the provider's website.
5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract for certain distance purchases, subject to applicable exceptions.
For digital content supplied immediately, the law may provide that the right does not apply once you have expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. The wording shown at checkout and the terms of your payment provider or Apple govern the legal details.
6. Subscriptions and cancellation
Cancelling a subscription (turning off auto-renewal) is different from a refund: it usually stops future charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period, unless required by law or agreed otherwise.
How to cancel depends on the channel (Apple account subscriptions for Mac App Store purchases, when that channel exists; provider portal or email for direct purchases, as communicated at purchase).
7. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in how we sell or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page is revised accordingly.
8. Refunds and secure links
Requesting a secure link (or using the manual code) is not a payment operation and is not a refund request. Refunds follow the purchase channel: for current direct downloads, the payment provider shown at checkout (e.g. Stripe); if a Mac App Store version is offered and you purchased there, Apple’s rules apply to those purchases.
