Terms of use
Last updated: April 9, 2026
As of the date at the top of this page, NythyCleaner is not distributed on the Mac App Store. The current build is offered by direct download from this website; the Pro subscription is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout (e.g. Stripe). A Mac App Store version may be offered later; these documents will continue to distinguish channels where applicable.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to the website nythycleaner.cloud and use of the NythyCleaner software for macOS.
By using the website or the software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the website and the software.
1. Publisher and legal status
The website nythycleaner.cloud and the NythyCleaner software are published by NythyCleaner, operating as Sole proprietorship under the French micro-enterprise regime (France).
Contact: contact@nythycleaner.cloud. Legal identifiers (including SIRET) stated on purchase receipts or invoices are authoritative for direct sales.
VAT: VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
If and when a macOS build is offered on the Apple App Store, the seller identity shown at checkout would be that of the Apple developer / seller account: NythyCleaner, and Apple would collect payments under the Apple Developer Program agreement between Apple and the publisher. The notice at the top of this page states whether a Mac App Store build is actually available; these Terms describe that channel for future reference.
2. Distribution channels
Currently, NythyCleaner is provided by direct download from nythycleaner.cloud (section 2.1). A Mac App Store build may be offered later; if it is, section 2.2 and the rules that reference Apple apply only to that build. Technical, contractual, and payment terms differ by channel. Unless we say otherwise, a licence or subscription on one channel does not automatically apply to the other.
2.1 Direct download (current channel)
- Distributed by download from nythycleaner.cloud or a link provided after purchase (email, payment provider, etc.).
- This version is not distributed by Apple. It may require broad permissions on your Mac (files, volumes, system settings) and is not subject to the Mac App Store sandbox.
- The feature set may differ from a Mac App Store version, if one is offered later (technical or policy limits per channel).
- Payments, subscriptions, billing, and refunds for this channel are as stated on the website or at checkout (including a third-party payment processor, e.g. Stripe). The site's refund policy supplements these Terms for this channel where it applies.
2.2 Mac App Store version (if offered)
- If published, it would be distributed by download from the App Store for macOS.
- That build would be subject to Apple's rules (review, sandbox, guidelines). In-app purchases and subscriptions would be handled solely by Apple (StoreKit).
- Installation, updates, and compliance would follow Apple's terms for your Apple account.
2.3 Cross-channel use
Unless the publisher expressly states otherwise, a licence, subscription, or purchase on one channel does not automatically apply to the other; you may need to subscribe separately per version. Pricing and promotions may differ by channel.
3. Purpose of the service
NythyCleaner is a macOS maintenance utility for system cleanup, disk space analysis, and certain advanced operations (depending on plan and channel).
The website presents the product, its features, terms of use, and legal information.
4. Access conditions
- The website is free to access, subject to possible technical downtime.
- The app requires a Mac that meets the macOS version stated on the site or, if a Mac App Store listing exists, on that listing.
- Some features may require system permissions granted by the user.
5. Free tier, trial, and Pro subscription
NythyCleaner may offer a free tier with limited features and Pro plans via auto-renewable subscriptions, depending on the channel.
5.1 Subscriptions and indicative prices
The following plans may be offered (indicative prices; actual prices are shown in the app and, if you use a Mac App Store build when one is offered, on the App Store or at the time of in-app purchase):
- Pro Monthly: €4.99/month
- Pro Quarterly: €12.99/quarter
- Pro Yearly: €39.99/year
5.2 Free trial
A free trial (e.g. 14 days) may be offered to eligible new subscribers, depending on the channel and the terms shown at signup. Unless cancelled within the deadlines stated for that channel, the subscription may convert to a paid plan after the trial.
Cancelling a subscription (turning off auto-renewal) is different from a refund: it usually stops future charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period, unless required by law or agreed otherwise.
5.3 Payment, renewal, and cancellation — Mac App Store (if applicable)
This subsection applies only ifyou use a build distributed through the Mac App Store. If you use the direct-download version, section 5.4 applies.
If you use the App Store version and subscribe through Apple:
- Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (per Apple's rules).
- You manage the subscription in Apple Account Settings> Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep Pro access until then.
- In-app purchases, billing, renewal, cancellation, and purchase restoration are governed by Apple. If these Terms conflict with Apple's payment or subscription terms for that channel, Apple's terms prevail for transactional matters.
5.4 Payment, renewal, and cancellation — outside the Mac App Store
If you use the non–App Store version and pay online:
- Payment is processed by the provider shown at checkout (e.g. Stripe) or as stated on the website.
- Invoices, receipts, and legal lines on those documents may come from the processor or the publisher, as applicable.
- Renewal and cancellation follow the instructions given at purchase (link in the confirmation email, customer portal, or support).
- Any refunds are handled under applicable law, the processor's terms, and the refund policy published on the site.
6. User obligations
You agree in particular to:
- use the service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms;
- not attempt to circumvent technical restrictions of the software or limits of the channel you use;
- not compromise the security, availability, or integrity of the service;
- maintain regular backups of your data before any cleanup or deletion.
7. License
Unless stated otherwise, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software for your own needs on the device(s) permitted by the distribution channel, for as long as the service is available and subject to these Terms.
Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, reverse engineering, or exploitation of the software or website is prohibited, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is." Despite efforts to ensure quality, the publisher does not guarantee complete absence of errors, interruptions, or compatibility with every environment.
You remain solely responsible for actions initiated from the app (deletion, cleanup, uninstallation). To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages (loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of unsaved data).
9. Intellectual property
The website, software, text, trademarks, logos, graphics, and structure are protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Third-party links
The website or app may contain links to third-party services. The publisher is not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of those services.
11. Changes to the service and Terms
The publisher may change the service, its features, distribution channels, and these Terms at any time. The update date shown on this page is authoritative.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country (including within the EEA). In case of dispute, good-faith resolution will be sought before any legal action.
13. Pro subscription — secure linking
For the non–App Store version, activation on a new Mac uses a one-time secure link sent to the billing email. The link expires quickly (usually 15 minutes), and requests are rate-limited to prevent abuse.
